Alpha-Cen Organization

Alpha-Cen ins integrated by:

1) General Assembly

The General Assembly is the highest authority of Alpha-Cen and is integrated by full members, associate members and basic members. The General Assembly will have one ordinary session per year and the resolutions will be approved by simple majority of votes.

2) Executive Committee

The Executive Committee is the leading body of Alpha-Cen and complies with the following positions:
1) President: Full member
2) Vice President: Full member
3) Secretary: Full member
4) Treasurer: Full member
5) Vocal I: Associate member
6) Vocal II: Associate member
7) Vocal III: Basic member

3) Ethics Committee

It is the organ that watches over the nature and mission of Alpha-Cen, which works to contribute, improve and share scientific knowledge related to the universe. Alpha-Cen works in a safe space, with ethical behavior among its members, collaborators and the general public and therefore does not tolerate unethical behaviors such as racism, harassment and discrimination of any kind.

4) Supervisory Committee

The Supervisory Committee is an organ that monitors the development and operation of Alpha-Cen. It is made up of members of external institutions collaborating with Alpha-Cen.
